It was announced at June's club meeting about the club going to the drag strip on the dates of 6/15/11, 7/13/11, 8/10/11. These are the Wild Wednesday Night Test and Tune at Lucas Oil Raceway Park. The track opens at 5 pm with racing starting at 5:30 pm. It will be prepped some as it is also for slick tire cars. Cost is $20 to run $5 to watch. The club is not paying for this, but it is just members getting together to go and race, run and watch. All are welcome to go. Hope to see everyone there! All proceeds to benefit Hospice & Love chapel. For every can of food brought to the show you will get a chance to win a Vizio 32" LCD HD TV.
This is an open car show to all cars trucks and motorcycles.

Greenwood Hooters 3rd Annual Charity Car Show, benefitting the Kelly Jo Dowd fund! Registration begins at 11am, voting starts at 2pm, and awards ceremony at 3pm. First 50 registered receive goodie bag and souvenir dash plaque. Events include charity car wash for those who are not entering a vehicle. Hooters' 1959 LaFrance fire truck and custom breast cancer awareness Mack truck will be on display. Fun for the whole family!
