FIRST FRIDAY CRUISE-IN SEASON OPENER. This open cruise-in is held on the first Friday of each month from May to October. It's located on Danville's Historic Courthouse Square from 5pm to 9 pm. It's FREE! Cool tunes fill the air as hundreds of hot rods-classic cars-muscle cars-whatever gets your motor running-can be found lining the streets of the downtown square. Lots of great places to eat and lots of car lovers to talk with. Feel the vibe as the downtown streets rumble with energy on First Fridays! 6th Annual Hotrods and Academics Car Show will be held on the beautiful front lawn of Seymour High School and hosted by the Seymour High School CARR club students. 1350 W. 2nd St Seymour, IN. Registration is from 10 am to 1 pm and awards are at 3 pm. Dash plaques to 1st 50 participants. Open to all makes and models. Cost is $10 and awards for top 3 in each class, plus multiple specialty awards. Hand made trophies again this year!! Also CARR club is hosting a Ford Drive One 4UR School event where Ford will donate $20 to Seymour High School for every person who test drives a new car at the show!
